Tracks such as ‘Money On A4 Paper’ and ‘War Paint’ bring Emma’s infectious, upbeat grooves to the fore, while the laid-back foot-tappers ‘Soul Survivor’ and ‘Stuck In The Dark (Right Where You Are)’ display an amazing performance of powerful Soul/Blues singing.

Keeping the tradition of raw emotional power that is present in Emma’s songs, many of the recordings feature live takes and the music oozes authentic analogue warmth.

To top it off, the record was lovingly mixed down to 2-track tape and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, London.
